DIGI THAMES

Legal

Terms & Conditions,
the plain-English version.

This page covers using our website. The specifics of your engagement — scope, fees, timelines — live in your signed proposal, not buried in fine print here.

Clear Language UK Governing Law No Buried Clauses
Terms & Conditions

What this page
actually covers.

This page sets out the terms for using the DigiThames website — not the terms of a client engagement. If you're a client, the real detail (scope, fees, payment schedule, cancellation terms) lives in your signed proposal or contract.

We've kept this short and plain on purpose. Questions? Email us and we'll explain properly.

📄

This page ≠ your contract. It covers website use. Engagement-specific terms are agreed separately, in writing, before any work starts.

🔍

Everything on this site is indicative. Service descriptions explain what we do — they're not a quote or a binding offer.

🇬🇧

Governed by the law of England and Wales. Standard for a UK-based agency — see Section 06 below.

01

Acceptance of These Terms

By using this website, you accept these terms. If you don't agree with them, the only request we'd make is that you don't use the site — and you're welcome to email us at hello@digithames.co.uk instead to ask a question directly.

02

Using This Website

You're welcome to browse this site and get in touch about our services. Please don't use it in a way that could damage, disable, or interfere with it, or attempt to access parts of it you're not authorised to access.

03

Our Services

This site describes the marketing (SEO, Paid Search, Paid Social, Content & Copywriting, Analytics & Attribution, Strategy & Planning) and web development services we offer. These descriptions are indicative — they explain our approach, not a specific quote.

Actual client engagements — scope, deliverables, fees, payment schedule, timelines, and cancellation terms — are set out in a separate signed proposal or contract. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer capable of acceptance on its own.

04

Intellectual Property

The content on this website — text, design, layout, and branding — belongs to DigiThames unless stated otherwise. You're welcome to share a link to it; please don't copy or republish it elsewhere without asking us first.

Ownership of work produced as part of a client engagement (campaigns, copy, code, designs) is addressed in that engagement's own contract, not on this page.

05

Limitation of Liability

We take reasonable care to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but we don't guarantee it's error-free or make this site available uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for losses arising from your use of this website itself.

This doesn't affect liability under a signed client contract, which is governed by the terms of that contract, not this page.

06

Governing Law & Changes to These Terms

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. We may update this page from time to time as the site or our services change — if we do, the updated version applies from the point it's published.

Questions about any of this? Email hello@digithames.co.uk.

⚠️
Note for the team

This page uses standard, honest website-terms language — it hasn't been reviewed by a solicitor, and it deliberately does NOT state specific fees, payment terms, cancellation windows, or a liability cap, since none of those were ever provided or agreed anywhere. Get proper legal review before this is relied on as binding, and make sure every real client engagement is backed by its own signed proposal/contract rather than this page alone — Section 03 says exactly that, so keep it true in practice.

"Fine print shouldn't be where the surprises live. If it matters, we say it plainly — here, and in your contract."
