The same standard we apply to client work applies here: clear, honest, and no fine print designed to confuse you.
This policy explains what happens to your personal data when you visit this website or get in touch with DigiThames — a digital marketing agency operating at hello@digithames.co.uk.
We have kept this deliberately short and plain. If anything below is unclear, that is on us to fix — email us and we will explain it properly.
We do not sell your data. Nothing you share with us is sold or rented to third parties, ever.
We only collect what the contact form asks for. Name, email, company/website, service interest, and your message — nothing hidden.
No tracking cookies are currently active on this site. If that changes, this policy — and how we ask for consent — changes first.
DigiThames is a digital marketing agency. For the purposes of this policy, we are the "data controller" for any personal information collected through this website. You can reach us directly at hello@digithames.co.uk with any question about this policy or your data.
When you use the contact form on this site, we ask for:
We do not collect anything beyond what's in that form. We don't run tracking scripts or ask for information you haven't chosen to give us.
Whatever you submit through the contact form is used for exactly one thing: responding to you about the enquiry you made. We don't add you to marketing lists, share your details internally beyond the people who need to reply to you, or use it for anything you haven't asked for.
Current status of the contact form: as of this build, the form does not yet send data anywhere — submitting it shows a confirmation message but doesn't transmit your details to us. This will be wired to a real inbox before launch; this section will be updated to describe that flow once it is.
This site does not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of any kind. We're not measuring visits, running pixels, or building a profile of who looks at this site.
If we add analytics in future (for example, to understand which pages are useful), this section will be updated first, and a consent mechanism will be added where required — not silently switched on.
This site loads two typefaces — Fraunces and Instrument Sans — directly from Google Fonts. Loading a font this way can share your IP address and browser information with Google, in line with Google's own privacy policy. This is currently the only third-party service in use on this site.
We keep enquiry information only for as long as it's useful for responding to you or progressing a potential engagement, then delete it. We take reasonable steps to keep any information we do hold secure.
You have the right to ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how it's used. Email hello@digithames.co.uk for any of this. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
This page reflects what the site's code actually does today — no analytics, no wired-up contact form, no other third parties beyond Google Fonts. It hasn't been reviewed by a solicitor, doesn't state a UK GDPR legal basis for processing, isn't dated, and doesn't confirm ICO registration status. Get proper legal review before this is relied on as a binding policy — and update Sections 03 and 04 immediately once the contact form and/or analytics actually go live, since those are the two things most likely to go stale first.
"The same honesty we bring to client reporting applies to how we handle your data. Nothing hidden, nothing oversold."
— The DigiThames approach
If any part of this is unclear, or you want to know exactly what we hold about you, just email us — a real person will reply.
